Particularly with regard to food products derived from agriculture, originating from live animals, grown under differing conditions, in different environments, the biggest challenge is in ensuring the consistency required to give our customers the confidence to know that each and every order will be consistent in color, texture, confirmation, and volume.
 . . . Day in and day out, our knowledgeable buyers are in contact with veal growers right there “in the field” ... visiting their operations ... sharing their knowledge and expertise ... developing solid grower relationships, to the mutual benefit of everyone involved.
 . . . Whether a product source is calves raised on our own Dutch Valley Veal farms, or calves we acquire on the open market, all veal growers we work with for supply must adhere to the published guidelines and best scientific principles and practices as put forth under the auspices of the American Veal Association’s Livestock Management Division, in cooperation with some of the country’s leading agricultural universities.

Working hand-in-hand with growers right there in-the-field allows our buyers to establish a one-on-one dialogue where both parties benefit through communication and understanding of each other’s needs.
